The Vow Tunnel is made from discarded carpet fiber from demolished buildings around NYC. The carpet industry causes significant trash to go to our landfills because of how difficult it is to recycle. This exhibition is the final installation at the Arcadia Earth museum in NYC; it asks visitors to look in the mirror in order to be able to read backward written messages. It reflects on our opportunity to make a vow to do better for our planet by first educating ourselves about waste and material use in our every day lives.
